Olympie des Villas left Gregory’s stables this Tuesday for Brasil. After two seasons under Gregory, this marvelous mare was sold to a Brasilian young rider. Recall that Olympie arrived in Waleffes when she was eight years old, directly from her owner/rider Bernardo Mathias with whom she showed in young horse classes. The objective of Gregory’s work was to take the mare to a higher level so as to develop her commercially. After one year of preparation, the mare revealed her talent in 2011 with good placements in the biggest competitions including the CSI of Vejer de la Frontera and Hardelot as well as in the CSIO of Copenhagen, Dublin and Rotterdam. Gregory is very happy to have had the chance to ride this quality mare and takes this opportunity to thank the owner for the confidence placed in him during this time.
