The De la Marchette stud takes its name from a locality in Borsu, where my stables are located. The origins of our breeding go back to the early 90s. At the time, it was a marginal occupation for my father, Hubert, alongside his farming activity. The real beginnings of our breeding started in 1993, with Just In Time.
Just in Time (Goldfisch de Lauzelle x Codex XxFlugel van la Roche, sBs), a mare who had her first foal at the age of three. Broken up at the age of five, she would then ride for a few years under my saddle when I started before ending her sports career with another rider. She then returned home to start her broodmare life. It is she who is the basis of our breeding with no less than eight products today, three of which have passed under my saddle and one which is still in my stable.
Products of Just In Time
- Acajou de la Marchette (Stallion, 2006, Wandor de Mispelaere) sold at 7 years old who jumped 1.45m classes
- Kassandra de la Marchette (Mare, 2008, Kannan) evolved under my saddle up to 1.40m classes before getting injured. She is now dedicated to breeding to continue the line. She has already given three offspring (including two Ironman born in 2017 and 2018 and a filly from Bresil de Riverland born in 2019). She had also a foal from Mikias van den Bisschop in 2020.
- Crack de la Marchette (Gelding, 2011, Copin van de Broy)
- Amor de la Marchette (Gelding, 2013, Again du Toultia) the last product of Just in Time which is currently under my saddle and which started competitions in Vilamoura at 6 years old
To perpetuate the good maternal line
About Acajou, before his departure my father had breeded him with his mares in order to perpetuate his good maternal line, three fillies will be born including my famous Argentina de la Marchette (2012, Acajou X Del Piero PB) Champion of Belgium of 7 years old in Gesves and finalist at the World Championships in Lanaken in 2019.
Altesse de la Marchette, also born in 2012 (Acajou X Clarence I) is dedicated to breeding following an injury. She already has a filly born in 2018 by Riesling du Monselet.
And to finish Argument de la Marchette born in 2013 (Acajou X Quick Lauro Z) which continues its evolution at home.
