After jumping her first 9 classes without one fault, Lilly Lordanos soared
to win the 7 year old final.
As the first to go in this final, she avoided various traps on this
difficult course where only 11 pairs out of 51 qualified for the jump off.
In order to put pressure on the riders that would follow him, Gregory
decided to go for broke in the jump off. This strategy paid off as most of
the other riders had faults but for two others who could not beat Gregory's
time. Lilly Lordanos thus won the final, finishing this tournament in the
best way possible and paving the way for a very promising future for this
mare.
Gregory also qualified for the jump off with Baby-Fee des Hazalles but he
incurred 4 faults to finish in 8th place.
Another promising mount who is a new arrival at Gregory's stable, Tefnout
d'Ouilly,, showed great potential throughout the tournament and, despite her
lack of experience, she secured several clear rounds. She also jumped a
great final with 4 faults in the first round.
