Saturday was a perfect day for Gregory!
Gregory’s first day of showing started at dawn with the young horses. Citizenguard Million Dreams was his regular self with a clean round on Friday, the first day of the show. He was very fast on the following Saturday with a great 2nd place finish in the 6-7 year old young horse class. She also confirmed her quality on Sunday in the 7-year old young horse final with just one little time fault in the first round which kept her from jumping off. Then it was the 1.45m speed for Baloudana who was 15th on the order of go. This daughter of Baloubet had everything fall in place in course with a record time without touching a rail. This allowed her to win the class with almost a 4 second margin over the other entries. The day was beautiful and off to a great start with Gregory who nailed it with a sumptuous round with Kronos d’Ouilly in the small 1.50m Grand Prix with a time that no rider could touch, hence clenching the victory in this class – a repeat performance from last year in the same class!
