The weekend was full of emotions for the young rider from Liege.
In the Young Horse classes, Gregory had a good showing with Viking who placed 8th Friday and 12th Saturday. In the Small Grand Prix on Saturday, Gregory had a magnificent victor with Kronos d’Ouilly and a 3rd place with Phelius de St. Hermelle in the 1.45m class.
In the Sunday Grand Prix, in a difficult atmosphere, Gregory made his sponsors hearts tremble with Copin van de Broy. His trip seemed to be a lesson in equitation for its correctness and balance. The jump-off was made for Gregory’s style of riding: full of speed with extraordinary fluidity and precise jumps. The result was the fastest time but with one fault on the last jump. This time again, a beautiful 4th place earned by this couple underneath the eyes of a proud audience.
Gregory was honored as the best Belgium rider of the show thanks to his multiple placings during the week.
