Final 7 years olds

Good final for the three 7 year olds….

With an unfortunate four faults for each in this difficult 7-year old final where only 9 out of 80 starters qualified for the jump-off.

Vipreska, the first to show, made a fault coming into the triple. “I was too close to the first element but for the rest, she jumped a really good course. She was really comfortable with the height. I lacked a bit of control towards the end of the course but I am very satisfied with her progress over these five weeks,” said Gregory.

Viking was the second to go from the group. He also had a fault entering the triple. Gregory describes as follows: “I felt the horse rushing at the first element of the triple but for the rest of the course, he surprised me with the ease with which he jumped this difficult course. His carefulness is one of his best qualities, he also showed that the height is not a problem for him.”

As for Forlap, he made an error on the easiest jump in the beginning of the course. “This horse promises a lot for the future. I have gotten to know him during this tournament and he pleases me.”

The seven year olds will have 3 weeks of rest and then will participate at one of the two weeks of the CSI Lummen with the aim to prepare for the Belgian Championships that will take place at the beginning of May.
