Luck was not on Gregory’s side for this 2014 edition of the CSI-W in Malines (Mechelen). All in all, the horse jumped very well but Gregory committed a tiny fault in each round which included Zippit in the GP of the City of Malines and with Conrad de Hus in the World Cup Qualifier…
Zippit showed some very good qualities this weekend with a clear round over the fences but one time fault in the 1.50m jump-off class. In the smaller GP of this CSI-5* show, the pair had a beautiful round with an unfortunate four faults at the last fence! As for Conrad de Hus, he jumped a very nice round in the “Sire” class on the first day with four faults in the jump off. Unfortunately, this result was repeated in the World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix. Riesling, who just came back to competition with this show, had a beautiful double clear the first day and laced 12th in the 1.45m speed class.
Now it’s time for a little well-deserved break for Gregory and his horses who we will see again in 2015 for new adventures.
