Gregory made the decision to take two experienced horses to Aachen for the GPs and two 8 year olds to allow them to gain experience.
Sea Coast Forlap clearly met all the expectations set for him with two magnificent rounds in the 1.50m classes and a very good round in the 1.55m class on Saturday.
Conrad participated in the classes reserved for 8 yo horses. His quality showed through in all three classes he jumped with a lovely 6th place finish in the final.
Citizenguard Cadjanine was also brilliant but she lacked some luck. She had four faults in the GP of Europe on Wednesday but followed by one fault in the jump off but the best time in the Friday GP. Despite having 3 rails down, she jumped a very nice course in the enormous Rolex GP on Sunday.
Desteny started the week well but after a scary jump at the water in the Nation’s Cup, it became more difficult to finish the course with a slight injury which ultimately kept her from starting in the second round.
