In the third week of the Sunshine Tour, Gregory continued to have good results this week, notably with Zippit who is in good form. After qualifying Thursday thanks to clear round that was fast enough in the opening 1.50m class, Gregory was able to reproduce the same clear round as the week before with Zippit in the Grand Prix. As one of the last to go in the jump-off, Gregory took all the risks and finished with the best time but unfortunately he had the last obstacle down which robbed him of the win. But, put in perspective, it was still a nice 7th place finish for Gregory and Zippit.
Tefnout, Coree, and Chanel showed well in the 1.35m and 1.45m classes with several clear rounds.
There was also some very nice rounds put in by Gregory’s riders including the 2nd and 3rd place finishes by Ugo Berritella with Breaker and High Tech in the 1.30-1.40m classes as well as the clear round of Benfica and the powerful ride on Rio des Vains by Damien Plume. The latter would have been qualified for the jump off in the Grand Prix but for an unfortunate foot in the water.
