The CSI-3* Grand Prix of Beijing took place on Sunday with ten out of the twenty best riders in the world along with twenty Chinese riders. Local horses were made available to foreign riders for the occasion. After the first round, the majority of European riders were qualified for the jump-off. Gregory finished in a brilliant 3rd place with a double clear round secured by hundredths of a second, after the winner Ludger Beerbaum and second place rider Henrik von Eckermann
