A great Corée and a Belgium once again very strong. The big final of the Nations Cup took place last week-end in Barcelona, where the best 15 teams gathered. First day and already big difficulties, with the objective of finishing in the top 8 and be qualified for the great final on Saturday evening where all scores would be reset. After a very bad start for Belgium and a score of 20pts, the good rounds followed each other but each time with a small fault. Gregory starting last knew that only a clear round would permit Belgium to qualify for the big final. Corée simply realized a perfect clear round and shot Belgium to the 7th place and the final. The course on Saturday was at the level of a Championship final, with the 8 best teams. After a new mitigated start and 8 points, Niels finished with 4 points and Jérôme placed Belgium back on top with a clear round. Once again last to start, Gregory knew that only a clear round would allow them to dream of victory and at least guarantee a podium. Corée seemed to fly over the course and realised a double clear round, putting Belgium on the 2nd place with the USA. Only the speed would determine the final ranking, and put the Red Devils back in the 3rd place. This is however a fantastic result, and after Belgium's victory 2 years ago, Belgium stays on the podium.
