Romance van de Padenborre was simply meant to come and gain experience at the CSIO 5* of La Baule. But with a mare showing that much desire, it was hard not to get caught up in the game.The result: a lovely win in Saturday’s 1.45m class, right under the nose of Glamour Girl, no small feat.A very promising sign for the rest of the learning curve of our 9-year-old mare, a daughter of my former stallion Iron Man.
