After several days of high level competition with long courses comprised of huge obstacles (including a great victory during a busy Thursday in the big class with Algorythem and nice clear in the first round of the Nation’s Cup), it was time for the much awaited CP Grand Prix which took place on Sunday.
Conrad jumped a perfect first round over a course that was built huge and very long. Twelve horses departed in the second round, all jumping with a new clear score. But this difficult and enormous second course would decide the victory with a line that almost impassable. It was thus in this lie that Conrad got trapped into committing two faults. Only Scott Brash realized a clear round in this second leg. Gregory and Conrad finished with a beautiful 6th place – an amazing accomplishment for their first trip to Calgary!
