While Gregory was in Opglabbeek for the CSI, his rider Ugo Berrittella was in Gesves for the belgian championship with several horses. And he was rather successful, with 4 out of 5 horses qualified for the final.
First in the competition reserved for the 5 year olds with Brésil du Riverland who showed all his potential with 3 clear rounds and then unfortunately a misunderstanding in the jump-off, due to the lack of experience with speed for this 5 year old, which obliged him to make a circle. But he didn’t make any jump fall down during his 4 rounds.
Then with the 6 year olds, with Echo de Virton, who realised 2 clear rounds. But he then became tired and made 2 faults in the final closing the championship.
And finally the promising 7 year olds, who realised the perfect week with a 2nd place for Sandero and a 4th place for Jackson in this criterium reserved for the 7 year olds.
